This painting was commissioned from a drawing I had previously done of the Ruhk character. This was a chance for me to explore the more human side of her. I let her hair down and placed her in her natural environment: the woods.
As alwasys, her totem wolf, Tomac, is at her side. I gave her a reflective look to her. The name 'Mirror' came from the history behind her. She and Tomac are as much a part of each other as they are a part of the woods. 'Mirror' was a fun play on her shaman life.
